The Aardsma Weekly by Rachel Aardsma

posted October 5, 2006

Rachel, our eighth child, currently 12 years of age, recently began a little, family, weekly newspaper called The Aardsma Weekly. I liked it so much that I thought you might like it too! It gives an inside look at our family from one of our children's perspective, and provides up-to-date reports on happenings around our house. These are in pdf format and require Adobe Acrobat Reader to view. The intention is to post these weekly, but due to a very busy schedule around here, there may be some delays on posting from time to time. Issues can be selected from The Aardsma Weekly Archives page.

Quotes from Books I'm Reading

During my younger years I had little time to read. With many little ones to care for, there was precious little time to glean advice, wisdom, exhortation and encouragment, though I very much needed it. Now that I am a grandmother and my youngest child is no longer so dependent upon me, I have much more time to read, which Gerald and I do together for about one hour every evening before we drift off to sleep. On the Quotes page, you will find quotes from books I have been reading. These quotes cover a variety of topics of interest to Christian mothers. Pull up a chair and browse the Quotes page from time to time, for uplifting and challenging thoughts from a variety of authors.

"That's a Great Idea!"

From time to time I come across a great product, recipe, or household hint that I'm dying to share! That is what this Ideas Page is all about. I will be adding ideas, tips and hints to this section whenever I run across something I have found helpful, and whenever I have time to post it! Feel free to write and share your great ideas with me. To learn how to reach me by e-mail click here.
