Dear Sisters,

We have had a relatively large number of requests for permission to distribute the "Woman to Woman" article from The Mother's Companion Volume 4 Number 2 (March/April 1998). This has led Gerald to develop two cost effective alternatives for those wishing to distribute Mother's Companion articles. The first is quantity discounts on large, single-issue back issue orders. If you are thinking of distributing more than 10 of any one issue then you will want to write for details of available quantity discounts.

The second is a photocopy license. This licenses you to make photocopies of Mother's Companion articles for a modest fee. This is designed to be easy, quick and convenient. Here again let me encourage you to write for details if you would like to photocopy an article now, or think you may wish to do so in the future.

Bound Volume 3, for the six 1997 issues of The Mother's Companion, is ready at last! See the middle order form on the back of this letter for details.

We have also had a number of requests for a brief description of the contents of the audio tapes which are offered through The Mother's Companion. (See the bottom order form on the back of this letter.) The One Room Schoolhouse is about organizing all aspects of homemaking to make home schooling run smoothly. It includes many home schooling tips. Let the Older Women Teach is all about Titus 2 mentoring---how women can mentor and be mentored. Seek Ye First....is part of our own family's story of how God has provided for our financial needs through the years as we have committed to live on one income with a large family.

In the past several issues we have been learning that women are to be teaching women the womanly arts. But how, practically speaking, is this done? I share one example of how Titus 2 can happen in a local church body from my own personal experience in the lead article this issue. I think you will find it helpful, and I trust it will be an inspiration as you think creatively of ways to be involved in the transmission of the womanly arts within your local sphere of influence.

Blessings,

Helen E. Aardsma
