My Mom's Bible

I was so very happy to receive my Mother's Bible after she died. I cherish it. I found quite a few things she had put in her Bible and I loved going through them all.

My Mom had an old family picture of me and my family in her Bible.

"My soul, bless the Lord."

"Happy Easter"

"I am the peace, and you do not know me.
I am your leader, and you do not forget me.
I am your God, and you do not ask me if you are unhappy,
you do not blame me."

I didn't know my Mom loved Josh Groban's music, just like I do!

Dried lavender.

A perfume sample. I remember my Mom having these when I was a child.

"I will miss you if you go, you sincerely will miss me. And the love that will leave me, I do not know if you will miss me or not. Your address is my friend and goes with you. Why are you going? Why? That love in you is gone. Why? Nothing will change. I know it in you. You....Me. The ? of our days and nights together. Your smile when....."

My Mom was actively involved in the Women's Alive seminars.
